Writing goes against the very nature we have to survive at all costs, to protect ourselves, to feel comfortable, to find our safe spot in what often seems like an unsafe world.
Pick a mental keyword or symbol that will help ‚kickstart‘ your writing. Got it? OK: When the clock tells you it’s time to write, then picture that image, word, symbol or phrase. Hear the crack of the lightning. Feel the imaginary pinch. Right then and there, do it; launch yourself into writing at that moment. At the same time every day.
Amy postponed launching her career until the twins were three months old. She filled her life between the baby’s birth and their 3 month birthday recruiting the perfect nanny for the girls and sending out resumes for marketing positions. By the time the 3 month event arrived, Amy was offered a beginning level position with a marketing firm abut 60 miles from their home. Bill, in the meantime, had landed an entry level position with a government agency and was settling in for a long slow climb to the top.

I stick to my process religiously. After writing thousands of articles, blog posts, and emails, I’ve learned what works for me. I know that I can get 2-3 times as much work done. I have to stick to it, or my business would begin to fail immediately.
Be aware of other problems your child and/or other family members may be having. They may be impacting the way your child is viewing his return to school.
Keep accurate records (copies of everything) for the IRS: the total for the entire school visit, i.e., amount you received for the actual day, or days, of presentations, number of books sold and the dollar amount, any expenses incurred (gas, mileage, plane ticket, room, food, etc.) that were not already paid to you, or for you, by the school.
Use your senses. The write my essay is, at its core, a story. The overall goal is to draw your readers in, connect in a powerful way, and lead them to take the next step when they’re done. What can you add to your writing that will transport readers into the story? Details that engage their senses, if even in their imagination. You’ll need to ask probing questions during the interview phase in order to uncover gems to include.
There are many writing prompts available in books and on the Internet. Take a writing prompt and just let yourself write. It doesn’t have to be good. It just has to be written. The more you write using writing prompts (where you won’t feel a huge commitment to it like you do with your novel) the more you’ll loosen up. Using writing prompts also means you don’t have to think of what to write. The prompt will provide you with the idea.
Some kids had one parent and some had 2, some even had 3 or 4. Thus, more phone tag, more inconsistent parenting, and more kids that struggle, take drugs/drink or have low self-esteem. Yet you want the school to solve the problem? Cut the caseloads and students per class.
However you show up or don’t, writing has patience. It will wait. If you can’t commit right away, if you don’t show up in a day or month, it will forgive again and again and again. Then, when you do show up, it will come to you from such purity, such sweetness and trust as you open your soft petals to it, and it opens its soft petals to you. For what your writing loves is intimacy. What it loves is mutuality. What it loves is the gifts you co-create to share with others. What it loves is filling the stillness, the empty places in your heart with the slow dance of words. What it loves is the joy you find in showing up.
